Study Purpose/Description
The impacts of climate change on health in New South Wales (NSW) span multiple dimensions, including direct health effects such as heat-related illnesses, injuries from extreme weather events, and indirect effects like worsening air quality, changing disease patterns, and decreased healthcare accessibility.
This study aims to identify priority research questions on:
- Impact of climate change on health in New South Wales
- Impact of climate change on health systems in New South Wales.
What’s involved?
Participation in this study involves completing brief online surveys that aim to identify and prioritise research questions regarding the impacts of climate change on health and health systems in New South Wales.
The study comprises two phases:
Phase 1: Participants will submit questions or topics they believe require further research. This survey takes approximately 5-15 minutes to complete, depending on the number of questions submitted.
Phase 2: Participants will rate the importance of various research questions identified in Phase 1 on a Likert scale. This survey will also take approximately 5-15 minutes.
