Night-Time Survey

Curtin University researchers want to learn if taking blood-pressure lowering medications at night may play a role in preventing the progression of kidney disease in diabetic patients through an online survey.

Study Purpose/Description

The research team want to learn if taking blood-pressure lowering medications at night may play a role in preventing the progression of kidney disease in diabetic patients. In a 30-minute online survey, participants will be asked about their perspectives toward changing the time of taking blood-pressure lowering drugs.

What’s Involved?

Taking part in this study involves:

  • Completing a baseline survey to assess your eligibility via the study website, and
  • Completing the main survey to explore your perspectives toward changing the time of taking blood pressure lowering drugs.

Diabetes

Recruitment criteria

This study is open to participants who:

  • Are aged 60 years and older, and
  • Have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, and
  • Are taking a once-daily dose of blood-pressure lowering drug treatment.
