Injured workers experience of using GP services

We’re inviting people with experience of a work-related injury and a workers’ compensation claim to take part in a study about their experiences with GP (general practitioner) care.

Study Purpose/Description

This study explores how people with workplace injuries use and experience GP services for both their injury and other health problems. We want to find out how GP care experience influences recovery and return to work. The findings may help inform policies to better support injured workers during their recovery.

What’s Involved?

The study involves having a conversation with a researcher that takes 45 to 60 minutes. The conversation will take place over Zoom (from a dial-in phone or via videoconference) and will be recorded with your permission.

The conversation includes questions

  1. What is your experience of using GP services? and
  2. What changes in current arrangements could improve recovery outcomes for injured workers?
