Have you ever heard of the Mediterranean diet?

Researchers from the University of Sydney want to know how much you know about the general principles of the Mediterranean diet, and your general attitudes or beliefs towards your current food habits.

Study description/purpose

This study seeks to assess and understand older adults’ knowledge of the Mediterranean diet, and their general attitudes and beliefs regarding their current food habits.

The information from this study will help researchers to develop targeted educational interventions aimed to improving food and nutrition intake in older adults.

What’s involved

Participants who consent will be asked to complete an anonymous online survey. The survey should take 10-15 minutes to complete.

None/healthy people

Recruitment criteria

This study is open to:

  • Australian residents,
  • Aged 55+
  • Who have not been diagnosed with dementia.
