Study Purpose/Description
You are invited to take part in this research study. The “CASS” study aims to find innovative ways to reduce speeding-related road trauma in New South Wales through increasing public demand for safer speeds. In this study we seek to evaluate speed behaviour and community attitudes to speeding in 6 Local Government Areas (LGA) across NSW.
What’s Involved?
We invite you to complete an online survey, completed twice, 6-months apart to evaluate how community attitudes and speed behaviours change in local government areas. The survey will ask about your attitudes to speeding in your community and in general.
Participants must be willing to complete the same survey again in 6 months’ time, and the research team ask for contact details so that all participants can be contacted again and invited to repeat the online survey. Despite having contact details for this purpose, all survey data is anonymous. In each of the 6 participating LGAs, there is the chance to win 1 of 4 $250 e-gift cards.
