Study Purpose/Description
C-STAM stands for Computerised-Sydney Test of Activities of Daily living in Memory disorders. C-STAM is a computerised assessment measuring everyday functional ability in older people with and without dementia.
This project will test the C-STAM designed to assess the ability of older adults to perform instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). This tool aims to improve the early detection of dementia by offering a more accessible and efficient method of assessing functional abilities, which are critical for independent living.

The second session, about 8 weeks later, lasts 30 minutes to 1 hour, including breaks. It includes questions about recent health changes and completing the C-STAM tool again. There will also be questionnaires about your mood and feedback on the C-STAM.
The assessment sessions will take place at the C-STAM office in Randwick, Sydney. Alternatively, the assessment sessions can take place at your residence.
All participants will receive a $50 Coles/Myers gift voucher for participating in this study. The research team will also reimburse any travel and parking costs. Informants will be reimbursed with a $25 gift voucher.
