Join Us is a not-for-profit national research register that provides researchers with access to Australians aged 18 years and older who have pre-consented to be contacted about health research opportunities that are relevant to them.

Since 2020, Join Us has helped more than 176 research studies across a variety of topics be matched with potential participants. View the full list of research studies here.

Please note: In August 2025 Join Us implemented a cost recovery model to ensure the long-term sustainability of the platform. Join Us remains a not-for-profit enterprise.
The fee is determined based on the type of organisation and funding source involved in the study:

• $2,000 (excl. GST) for non-industry funded studies
• $5,000 (excl. GST) for industry-funded studies

This fee covers participant matching of potentially over 10,000 individuals, study webpage creation, invitation design and delivery, and engagement metrics. The invoice is issued after your study invitation is sent and your Join Us study page is online.

You may be required to make a general ethics amendment to include Join Us as a potential recruitment method. Join Us advises researchers to submit an ethics amendment prior to completing the Researcher Access Form.
