Impact of Piracetam on Creativity and Problem Solving

Researchers at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) are conducting a project investigating how Piracetam (a GABA analogue drug) acts as a cognitive booster, specifically with regard to improving creativity and problem-solving.

Study Purpose/Description

It aims to investigate the influence of Piracetam on healthy participants’ cognitive performance, specifically their creativity and problem-solving, over a few days.

What’s involved?

Participation involves completing a questionnaire during a 30-minute in-person session at the UNSW Kensington campus, potentially taking Piracetam capsules once a day for three days at home and completing a 15-minute online follow-up questionnaire.

Participants will receive a $25 Prezzee e-gift voucher upon completion of study.

  • Aged 18 or over
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in NSW
